MONHEIM, Germany—At this year’s SCS Formulate at the Coventry Ricoh Arena, specialty chemicals supplier Cognis presented a range of new solutions that meet the consumer demand for cosmetic and toiletry products that are environmentally compatible and deliver high performance. New emulsifiers, high-performance polymers, emulsions, dispersions and suggested formulations allow manufacturers to meet consumers’ increasing demand for natural products that make them look and feel good.
Cognis presented: O/W emulsifier Eumulgin Prisma, made primarily from natural ingredients and highly effective at low concentrations; Cosmedia Triple C, a PEG/EO-free dispersion liquid polymer; and Lamesoft Care, a high performance wax dispersion for shampoo formulations.
