Oxygen Biotherapeutics Preps for Product Launches

COSTA MESA, Calif.—Oxygen Biotherapeutics Inc. filed a Cosmetic Product Ingredient Statement (CPIS) with FDA for a series of cosmetic products developed using the company’s proprietary technology. The Dermacyte™ Gel products use Oxycyte®, a perfluorocarbon (PFC) oxygen carrier, to promote skin health and deliver cosmetic benefits. Initial launches will include Acnecyte™, an acne control product, and Wundecyte™ for wound healing. Oxygen Biotherapeutics further noted it plans to file Investigational New Drug (IND) applications for the products in the wound and acne sectors.
