TALLAHASSEE, Fla.—Fish may nibble on your toes in the ocean or lake, but not in Florida salons. While so-called fish pedicures are popular in other areas of the country, the Florida Board of Cosmetology banned the use of flesh-sucking fish by salons to give clients smoother feet, citing concerns with sanitation. Other states including Texas and Washington have also banned the practice.
