Mederma cream improves the appearance of scars, according to a new study conducted by Dr. Zoe Diana Draelos, HAPPI reported. The three-month intervention involved 60 subjects with symmetrical wounds on the upper chest; those using Mederma cream had significant improvements in scar softness, redness and appearance.
