SECAUCUS, N.J.—Cosmeceutical marketing firms, formulators and execs are expected to gather here April 27 to 29, 2009, for SupplySide East. For the first time, show producer Virgo Publishing added a full track of cosmeceutical sessions to its education program, as well as a full track on food/beverage issues, in addition to its focus on dietary supplement topics. A scientific advisory board will assist with cosmeceutical and food/beverage program development, with sessions to address ingredient science, applications, formulation, market trends, regulatory issues and more.

“The two new tracks will nearly double the number of presentations in the education program,” said Peggy Jackson, director of publishing, Virgo Publishing. “With guidance and input from the advisory board members, this program will be the most compelling and comprehensive program we’ve ever offered at SupplySide East.”

The scientific advisory boards will collaborate with Virgo Publishing on developing the education program agenda. Members of the Cosmeceuticals/Personal Care Products Advisory Board include: Jon Benninger, director of business development, Virgo Publishing; Sumita Butani, N.D., director, Global New Product Innovation Wellness & Personal Care, Avon Products Inc.; Mindy S. Goldstein, Ph.D., executive director, R&D, The Estēe Lauder Companies; Mindy Green, MS, AHG, RA, clinical aromatherapist, Aveda Corp.; and Ron Sharpe, research associate, Health & Beauty New Technology R&D, Amway Corp.
