WSPA and LUSH Partner Up

TORONTO—WSPA and LUSH Cosmetics partnered to protect the endangered orangutans of Borneo. LUSH will be selling a WSPA-branded LUSH Charity Pot. This Charity Pot, in North American stores until early 2010, will help provide food and care for orangutans that have been rescued and are undergoing rehabilitation at the Borneo Orangutan Survival (BOS) Nyaru Menteng sanctuary in Borneo.

LUSH believes there are no sustainable sources of palm oil and they are the first cosmetics company to commit to eliminating palm oil in their products. In addition, LUSH promised to share their palm-oil-free formulation with other companies so others will be encouraged to follow their lead.
