Unique Formulations Honored at Spa Expo

NEW YORK—“Best of Show” new products were named at the 2008 New York Spa & Resort Expo and Conference and Medical Aesthetics Conference and Expo. The award for best new spa product went to Susan Ciminelli, for products including Cleansing Milk face and eye make-up remover, Algae Deep Cleanse enzymatic skin polisher and Seawater, which drives moisture deeply into the skin. On the medical aesthetics side, the Best of Show award went to DoshaCare skin care products, which use Ayurvedic healing to customize skin care programs. Additionally, several “New and Notable” product winners were selected by judges from SpaFinder. Among them was Bethesda Sunscreen Soap, which both moisturizes skin and leaves behind a layer of sun protection.
