The Natural Products Association credits people's increasing environmental consciousness and desire for healthy, synthetic-free products as the main reasons behind the natural products purchasing trends. The Associated Press reported, while consumers can no longer afford lavish vacations or high-end cars, they still have the desire to spoil themselves; many are looking to natural products as a means of indulgence.
