Ancient Indian Herbs for Cosmeceutical Use

01/30/2008

ELMWOOD PARK, N.J.Nutraceuticals International (NI) and Amruta have formed a joint venture to develop, market and sell indigenous Indian products to manufacturers worldwide. The agreement includes an extensive sales and marketing campaign to co-promote Amruta's "Ancient Ways to Cure Today" campaign to the forefront of the international marketplace.  The venture will promote a variety of "new" ancient Ayurvedic herbal extracts for finished goods manufacturers and consumers.

"Premium quality, consistency in supply, impeccable quality standards—Amruta provides us with the quality control we seek for our clients from the beginning to the end of the extraction process," said Zoltan Klivinyi, principle of NI. Under the agreement, NI secures the rights to exclusively supply Amruta's variety of high quality powdered extracts, soft extracts, granule extracts and standardized oil extracts, as well as an entire line of proplylene glycol (PG) extracts designed specifically for cosmetic use. The future partnership will also produce new extracts and products, such as standardized Ayurvedic herbal extracts, standardized oil extracts and proplylene glycol extract for cosmetic use, for introduction to the market in 2008.
