E.T. Horn Repping for Kaneka in Western U.S.

LA MIRADA, Calif.— E.T. Horn Co. (www.ETHorn.com) entered into an exclusive distribution agreement with Pasadena, Texas-based Kaneka Nutrients LP (KanekaQ10.com) to represent the entire Kaneka line of ingredients throughout the western United States via its FoodTech, Nutraceuticals and Personal Care product groups. According to E.T. Horn, Kaneka’s clinically-researched coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10) ingredient has great untapped potential in new markets. “Now that we’re carrying Kaneka’s proven product line, we can continue to provide our functional food partners with innovative, quality products and the hands-on service they’re accustomed to,” said Lisa Alley-Zarkades, vice president of E.T. Horn’s FoodTech group. Roger Thomas, vice president of the Personal Care group, concurred: “Our personal care product manufacturers are excited to learn of the myriad benefits Kaneka’s Q10 brings to their product formulations.”

Kaneka execs shared E.T. Horn’s enthusiasm for the new venture. “We conducted a thorough search for a new partner to expand our market share in the United States, and when we were introduced to E.T.
