Eating Your Way to Young?
In my consulting work this year I’ve seen a big shift in the way beauty and skin care is being approached. We’re seeing more companies developing an internal/external program to address the signs of aging. They continue to develop advanced day creams, night creams and serums combining active ingredients with technology; but, now they are adding internal supplements and juices that support these topical effects for a powerhouse treatment. While my clients’ products are still in development, and therefore secret until their unveiling, a good example of this internal/external approach can be seen in the recent launch of Strip Melts, a line of fast-melting oral strips, by Nutra3 Complex. These innovative strips melt and deliver a high load of active ingredients. Or, check out Glowelle by Nestle, a line of dietary supplement beauty drinks that claim to fight the signs of aging by nourishing from the inside out.
