Sure there are the mainstay exfoliatants—enzymes, alpha hydroxy acids, vitamins A and C—with their pros and cons; but a new generation of delivery systems beyond liposomes, micocapsules, niosomes,etc., are helping active ingredients stay on skin longer and work at deeper levels.
