Equateq: Pharma-Grade DGLA

LONDON—Equateq is now offering the omega-6 fatty acid DGLA (dihomma-gamma linolenic acid) in commercial quantities and to a super-pure specification. The DGLA is up to 98 percent pure and is available for researchers, pharmaceutical and cosmetic companies from gram to kilogram batch sizes. The fatty acid, being marketed by Equateq as EQT-101, performs as a precursor to important eicosanoids and could serve as an active ingredient in a topical cream for treating skin conditions such as eczema, psoriasis and atopic dermatitis.
