EDISON, N.J.— Croda (CrodaUSA.com) introduced Crodazosoft SCQ, a shampoo-compatible ingredient, which allows formulators to create shampoos that impart softness. Crodazosoft SCQ is a vegetable-derived imidazoline quat, which, in one study, left hair 8 percent softer than other shampoo treatments, according to the company. It can be combined with other Croda products: Crodazosoft DBQ, Crotein Cashmere and Mirustyle CP for optimal softness and hair protection.
