You want to keep your radiant, wrinkle-free skin? Well then bottoms up. According to a recent study out of London, white tea demonstrated high-phenolic content out of 23 plant extracts tested, and it may be able to fight off aging skin, in addition to offering beneficial affects on cancer and inflammation. A dozen of the extracts studied showed “high or satisfactory anti-collagenase or anti-elastase activities, with nine having inhibitory activity against both enzymes.” If fact, white tea had a greater affect on skin aging than green and black tea.
