Certainly Cellulite

If there was only one thing women had in common, it would be cellulite; to our dismay, it’s almost inevitable. It is estimated more than 90 percent of women will develop cellulite somewhere on their body. Men rarely, if ever, share this struggle with women. It doesn’t matter if you run three miles every morning or couch it watching three hours of Saturday morning cartoons (sigh, the good old days), cellulite is possible.

Of course, there are ways to minimize the amount of cellulite through diet, exercise and quitting smoking, as cigarettes breakdown connective tissues, which causes wrinkles. Unfortunately, creams and lotions touting cellulite removal hold little to no weight; even liposuction isn’t a cure. New FDA-approved laser treatments are somewhat successful, but they are impermanent and expensive. It seems the unfortunate truth is ... there is no cure (or way to avoid) cellulite. It’s something women must learn to accept.
