BROOMALL, Pa.—The U-Wand Cosmetic Delivery system is an ultrasonic product applicator device from Encapsulation Systems Inc. (ESI), designed to apply skin care compounds subdermally. The patent-pending technology allows deeper penetration of cosmetic products, enhancing their efficacy and lengthening the results. By using an unusual form of ultrasound, the U-Wand dilates the pores of the skin to deliver skin care compounds into the upper layers of the skin, just under the stratum corneum.
